Synopsis

Virtual Freedom is an elegant  5 minute ‘documation’ about a unique  online relationship that not only transcends the latest methods of communication, but also the shackles of a cruel political regime.  For an exile the internet is more than a mere resource, it is a lifeline to their homeland. For Maung Maung Aye, an ex-Burma Student Army freedom fighter now living in Australia, it means even more - it is a portal into an intriguing world of romance and activism.
